Today’s verse says: “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” My brother, my sister, The Bible declares over and over again that God feeds hungry people. Now, because we live on the earth, we always think about earthly food first. Today, let’s understand that the Lord wants us to go deeper in intimacy with Him, so that He can fill the empty parts of our lives (every parts that makes you sad, that brings tears to your eyes, etc.). The problem is that we do not always realise that the amount of our emptiness in our lives determines the amount of our filling, that is the reason why it is crucial for us to make room for the new things the Lord wants to fill our inside with by letting old things to go first. The sad truth is that many of us are so much attached to the things we already have or that we have achieved without the Lord that it is hard for us to abandon them and therefore it is hard for the Lord to bring about something new within us. Yes, most of our insides are still crowded with old stuff that we don’t want to let go. My friend, if you want the Lord to fill you, you need to have an empty inside, not to say an empty stomach that is spiritually rumbling for Him! You see, many people don’t feel spiritually hungry because they have taken things into their minds and hearts that act as spiritual barriers, and that’s why they do not feel the need for spiritual food as they should in fact. Therefore, they limit the Lord’s action in their lives. Today, make the decision to seek the Lord and His Kingdom first in a way that He can fill you. Stay blessed in Jesus’ name. [facebook] [retweet]
